San Jose CA, Fish Store Identification?

I live in san jose CA and i go to this local fish store called King Aquarium and they have three african tigerfish. they are stated to be goliaths but i am not for surethey look like hydrocynus vittatus to me and want to know so i dont overpay for something that should be cheaper. If any of you guys lives in san jose or has been to this fish store lately then maybe you could tell me.
