Spider Model Help...?

I have to make a clay project of a Goliath Bird-Eating spider for school. I'm really good at this stuff (like making things out of clay) and I have a big imagination. The problem is that they are really hairy on their legs and I can't find anything to put on my sculpture to make it look hairy... (P.S It has to be able to stick to the sculpture because it stands up and i can't have it falling off for the art show.)
